I wrote the poem below because I realized how much we are destroying nature. Instead of caring for it, we destroy it and put buildings that cause pollution. I'm not a tree-hugger, don't get me wrong, I sometimes litter and do the worse possible things to plants, but I also recycle. Recycling plastic, paper, and aluminum cans can make a huge difference to the Earth.
They take away
The beauty of this world
In its place they leave
Something worth to grieve
Trees and flowers they poison
In the near future
They'll learn their lesson
Don't ruin nature
It's a gift
A wonderful treasure
All the greenery
Of the plants
The color changing leaves
Is the beauty that we recieve
