This is a poem I wrote today. I can honestly say that I have written better poems than this, but I hope you like it. It's about trying to escape a place, but there's always something holding you back.

I try to fly
But  gravity holds me down
It won't let me go
And run from this town

I can't escape
No matter how hard I try
All I'm left to do
Is just look at the sky

I could be up above
Instead of being on the ground
I could be free
Instead, I'm just lying around

I want to fly
I want to get out of here
I can feel the wind
As it wipes away my fear

I'm still trying
I won't give up without a fight
Gravity's not gonna win
No, not tonight

An Ode to Taylor Swift

This is a little poem I wrote for Taylor Swift. I guess I was listening to a song of hers when I wrote it. As you can see, I'm a big fan of Taylor Swift, otherwise I wouldn't have written this!

Taylor Swift, you're so sweet and kind
You have a talent that's hard to find

How I very much adore you
For your songs are always true

Someday, I want to be like you
And maybe, just maybe meet you too

I can always relate to your songs
They help me right my wrongs

Whenever I am sad
"Love Story" makes me glad

I love all your songs very much
For my heart, it touched

You always know how to make me smile
I just listen to your songs for a while

Your songs have helped through a lot
They make me appreciate what I've got

I know this poem's not very good
So help me please if you would

I have a guitar here that I can't play
But maybe you could teach me if you have time someday

A Walk to Remember

Hey guys! I know I haven't been on in quite some time and I apologize for my temporary disappearance. I guess you can say that my time has been occupied with school and my guitar. To make up for it, I'll post two poems!


This poem was inspired by the movie A Walk To Remember. This is a about true love that lasts. I wrote it earlier this year.

A walk to remember
Was when you took my hand
And we strolled though the park
Hand in hand

A walk to remember
Was when we started dating
Everyone thought
It was just a quick summer fling

A walk to remember
Was when I was walking down the aisle
You were waiting for me at the altar
On your face was a smile

To Bullies

This is a simple poem addressed to bullies. If you see someone being bullied, please don't hesitate to stand up for them. Don't be afraid to stand up for yourselves and find the courage within.

What made you treat them
The way you did
Because of you
Their true personalities, they hid

You had no right
To hurt them
All you did
Was cause mayhem

What did they do to you
Did they tell you the truth
Or did you just envy
Their innocent youth

They are now broken

Who's not afraid

This poem is about a guy that still has feelings for a girl, but she does not feel the same way about him.

Trying to look for the feeling
That was there before
But I can't find it
It's not there anymore

 I've changed
 For the better or worse
 I'm different now
 You can say it's a curse

 I'm not the girl
 That was new and lost
 The one that was naive
 And didn't know the cost

We ended years so
There is no more us
I'm sorry if this looks

Another New Year

Happy New Year! Can you believe its 2013 already?! Did you know that it's the year of the Snake according to the Chinese calendar? I looked it up yesterday! 

Did you make new resolutions yet? Did you finish the old one? I, on the other hand, have not made new resolutions yet nor have I fulfilled my old one. Bad, I know right? Well as of right now, I am thinking of what my resolution should be. I would love to hear your New Year's resolutions, though.

Another new year has come
While the old one is gone
Mistakes were made
But what's done is done

New resolutions are created
That we try to fulfill
Improve our talents
Or learn new skills
