Just Friends

This poem is about a guy that still has feelings for a girl, but she does not feel the same way about him.

Trying to look for the feeling
That was there before
But I can't find it
It's not there anymore

 I've changed
 For the better or worse
 I'm different now
 You can say it's a curse

 I'm not the girl
 That was new and lost
 The one that was naive
 And didn't know the cost

We ended years so
There is no more us
I'm sorry if this looks
Like I'm leaving you in the dust

I'm me and you're you
We're different worlds apart
We'll just be friends
And prevent broken hearts
